The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for most of North Georgia including Paulding County. This advisory is in effect from 1pm until 8pm. Wind speeds will increase to 20MPH and gusts of 25 to 35 are possible. Strong winds may knock down tree limbs and displace small objects. Driving may become difficult especially in high profile vehicles - Use caution while driving!

Severe storms are expected later this afternoon and evening in advance of a strong cold front. Thunderstorm activity could begin as early as 1pm with the highest threat of severe weather between the hours of 8pm and midnight. Primary hazards with the storms are damaging winds, frequent lightning, large hail and the possibility of isolated tornadoes.
