Flood Warning

The NWS has issued a Flood Warning for Western Madison County effective until 2pm. Indian Creek near Madison is rising rapidly once again. At 10:15am, the stage was 6.7 feet and rising. Flood stage is 7.5 feet. Through midday another inch or more of rain will cause the creek to exceed flood stage.

Also, minor flooding is forecasted for Flint River at Brownboro. The river is expected to rise above flood stage by early this evening and will crest near 17.5 feet by after midnight tonight. The river will fall below flood stage by tomorrow morning.
