He was arrested without incident in the 3200 block of Camino Moro on the Los Coyotes Indian Reservation just before 6:00 p.m. today (May 19th). He will be booked into Vista Jail on an attempted murder charge. This arrest was made in partnership with the Tribal Police. Thank you for your tips.

Sheriff's Deputies from the Ranchita/Warner Springs Substation and San Diego County Crime Stoppers want your help in finding a suspect wanted in connection with a shooting in the East County.
Be on the lookout for 35-year-old Phillip Campbell. He is suspected of shooting his father on the Los Coyotes Indian Reservation on May 18th at 4:30 p.m. The victim is being treated at a hospital. The rifle believed to have been used in the crime has been recovered.
Phillip Campbell was last seen running into the hills of Hot Springs Mountain on the Los Coyotes Indian Reservation. He was wearing a white shirt and blue jeans. Campbell is 5’8", weighs about 250 pounds, and has brown hair and brown eyes. He has various tattoos on his arms and shoulders.
Phillip Campbell should be considered ARMED AND DANGEROUS. If you see Campbell, DO NOT APROACH HIM.
