UPDATE: Parade will close Prospect Avenue from 31st-39th streets tonight, 5-8 p.m. (updated route) 
The City of Kansas City, Missouri, advises motorists that the UniverSoul Circus – Your Life Matters Parade and Rally will temporarily close Prospect Avenue between East 31st Street and East 39th Street tonight, July 29, from about 5-8 p.m.
Please observe caution and obey all posted detours, barricades and no parking signs. Police are prepared to allow motorists to cross the routes when they deem it safe for race participants.
As a service to our residents, the City sends occasional notices about temporary road closures due to outdoor parades or races to help residents better plan their travel and avoid inconvenient road closures or delays.
