SUMMARY:
On October 16, 2017 at about 9:39 pm, Deputies from the Hesperia Station responded to the report of a burglary in progress in the 7200 Block of Kern Avenue. Upon arrival, deputies found the above suspect, Andres Sanchez down and suffering from gunshot wounds to his upper body. Through interviews and evidence at the scene, Detectives believe that for reasons still unknown, Sanchez went to the location and began forcing open the front door as the residents slept. Several other residents at the location, including 4 juveniles, were not injured during the incident, and all were cooperating with Detectives.
