Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide detectives are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a female adult that occurred in the 35800 block of 96^th Street East, in the unincorporated area of Little Rock.
 
At approximately 11:27 p.m. on Saturday, December 2, 2017, Palmdale Station deputies responded to the location regarding a traffic collision call.  Upon arriving they discovered the victim, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, being treated by Los Angeles County Fire personnel.  The victim suffered at least one gunshot wound. 
 
The victim was transported to a local hospital, and where she was pronounced dead.
 
The murder weapon was not recovered. 
 
There is no suspect description or any other information available at this time.
