***UPDATED 2-14-18, 5:30 PM***APD Special Crimes Investigators are continuing to review evidence and interview many witnesses that were present during this incident. The man taken into custody at the scene is Joshua Len Jones, a 35 year old male who listed an Amarillo address. Jones was booked into the Potter County Detention Center for six charges of aggravated kidnapping.
The man that was shot was taken to the hospital by ambulance. His injuries are not life threatening and he remains hospitalized. No one else was injured in the incident.
