The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide Bureau Detectives are investigating the shooting death of a male adult that occurred on Friday, February 16, 2018, at approximately 10:37 a.m., near Pallet Creek Road and Longview Road, Juniper Hills.
Palmdale deputies responded to the location regarding a person down call. Upon their arrival, they located a male Hispanic adult victim who was later determined to have sustained at least one gunshot wound to the upper torso.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
At this time, there is no suspect information or motive for the crime.
It is unknown if the shooting is gang related.
The investigation is ongoing.
