Stabbing and carjacking results in victim being transported to the hospital with major injuries.

LOCATION: Adobe Road and Buena Vista Drive, City of 29 Palms
SUSPECT(S): Unknown Male
VICTIM: Confidential, 25-year-old, Resident of 29 Palms
SUMMARY:
On May 11, 2018, at 10:30 p.m., the victim was confronted by several male subjects in a parking lot at Adobe Road and Buena Vista. A fight ensued between the victim and one of the suspects. The victim was stabbed once in the back during the altercation. The suspects then took the victim's car and fled the area. Deputies and Medical assistance were called to the scene by a witness. The victim was airlifted to a trauma center where he was treated for life threatening injuries, he is currently in stable condition.
The suspect description is not known at this time.
