North Spring Street Pedestrian & Bike Project begins work on the bridges across I-8 and will complete in March 2019 
The City of La Mesa’s contractor will be beginning work on the North Spring Street Pedestrian and Bicycle Improvements Project July 5th on Spring St between Mills St and Center St. Expect localized congestion due to construction activity. The North Spring Street Pedestrian and Bicycle Improvements Project, funded with a federal Highway Safety Improvement Program grant, includes: new pedestrian ramps, crosswalks, and traffic signal equipment. These improvements will help improve safety and is expected to be completed by March 2019.
