Press Release - MAN ARRESTED FOR 1973 NEWPORT BEACH COLD CASE MURDER

SANTA ANA, Calif. – The Orange County District Attorney’s Office and Newport Beach Police Department will be holding a joint press conference tomorrow, Feb. 20, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. to discuss the recent arrest of a suspect in connection with a 1973 Newport Beach cold case murder. The press conference will be held at the Orange County District Attorney’s Office at 401 Civic Center Drive West, Santa Ana in the first floor law library.
District Attorney Todd Spitzer said, “As the Orange County District Attorney, I am committed to protecting the community. My office will never forget about cold cases. Our hearts go out to the victim and the victim’s family in this case, having to endure decades without answers. We will make sure that the defendant is fairly and justly held accountable in a court of law.”
