The public's help is needed in locating Cody Pangle of Joshua Tree and Christa Thomas of Twentynine Palms

INCIDENT: Attempted Murder
LOCATION: 5400 block of Daisy Avenue, Twentynine Palms
SUSPECTS: Cody Pangle, 25-year-old resident of Joshua Tree
Christa Thomas, 22-year-old resident of Twentynine Palms
VICTIM: Kameren Johnson, 18-year-old resident of Twentynine Palms
SUMMARY:
On Sunday, March 17, 2019, at approximately 12:05 p.m., deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Morongo Basin Station, responded to an assault call in the 5400 block of Daisy Avenue, in Twentynine Palms. Through investigation, deputies determined Cody Pangle entered the residence where Kameren Johnson was visiting friends. Pangle stabbed Johnson, with a knife, once to the left side of his chest, causing serious injury. Pangle fled the location with girlfriend, Christa Thomas, in a tan 1997 Toyota Corolla, with a Montana license plate number 399761B. Johnson was transported to Desert Regional Medical Center for treatment. Deputies conducted an extensive search for Thomas and Pangle with negative results. Their whereabouts are currently unknown.
