LOCATION: 35000 block of Acacia Ave, Yucaipa
SUSPECT(S): Harold James Ketchum, 34 YOA, WMA, 5'10", 180 lbs, Brown Hair, Hazel Eyes
SUMMARY: During May of 2019, Yucaipa Police Department deputies contacted the residents of a home in the 35000 block of Acacia Ave regarding possible stolen property at the location. During the investigation, deputies recovered a stolen golf cart and stolen tools with a value of several thousand dollars. The deputies linked Harold Ketchum to the stolen property, though he was not at the residence at the time. Deputies located another stolen golf cart near Ketchum's residence and he is considered the likely suspect in that theft as well.
On June 4, 2019, deputies returned to Ketchum's residence but did not locate him. Deputies believe Ketchum has since left the residence and is now actively avoiding contact with law enforcement. Ketchum is on felony probation for burglary out of Riverside County and is a registered sex offender who is not in compliance with his registration requirements.
On June 6, 2019, deputies obtained a felony arrest warrant for Ketchum for failing to register as a sex offender and possession of stolen property. His whereabouts are unknown, he is still believed to be in the Yucaipa area.
