Deputies arrest Jamal Goodman for possession of narcotics and a probation violation

SUSPECT: Goodman, Jamal, age 42 years
SUMMARY:
On September 18, 2019, at approximately 4:00 pm, deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Multiple Enforcement Team initiated a narcotics investigation in the 8900 block of 19th St. Deputies identified Jamal Goodman, who is currently on Post Release Community Supervision (AB109) for drug sales, as the suspect. Deputies contacted Goodman as he attempted to leave the location. Goodman became combative and physically resisted the deputies. Goodman was taken into custody and found to be in possession of a large number of narcotics. The investigation determined Goodman had 85 grams of methamphetamine and 22.5 grams of fentanyl. The amount of fentanyl recovered equates to approximately 7,500 lethal doses. Goodman was booked at the West Valley Detention Center for possession of narcotics for sales, PRCS violation, and resisting arrest.
