One Juvenile Arrested for Threats Against Pete Knight High School in Palmdale 
On November 21, 2019, at approximately 6:30 pm, Palmdale Station received a call for service regarding a threat made for a planned shooting that was going to occur on November 22, 2019, at Pete Knight High School.
Deputies responded to the 37000 block of 70th St E in Palmdale CA (Pete Knight High School) to conduct an investigation. The informant provided deputies with information of a fight that occurred on the schools campus earlier that day. As a result of the fight, several students were detained and received suspensions for their involvement. An individual who was involved in the incident made threats on social media and posted pictures of a person holding a firearm.
Deputies conducted a thorough investigation and responded to multiple subject’s residences. Through cooperation with the subjects parents, multiple interviews and searches of the subject’s residences we conducted.
Deputies conducted an interview with a male juvenile who admitted to posting the pictures of the teenager holding a firearm and the bullets. He also admitted to writing threatening quotes and posting additional threats online. Deputies formed the opinion the threats constituted to the level of a crime and placed the male juvenile under arrest for criminal threats. He was booked and transported to Sylmar Juvenile Hall.
Several additional students were interviewed regarding this incident. They were found to have no involvement with the posting or threats.
