SUMMARY:
On Tuesday, December 10, 2019, deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, Morongo Basin Station, responded to the 55900 block of Twentynine Palms Highway in Yucca Valley, for a report of an attempted robbery. The suspects entered the location armed with a handgun and demanded the money from the safe and register. A fight ensued during the robbery and during the fight, a round was fired and struck the counter. The clerks were not struck by the bullet and were unharmed from the fight as well.
