NARRATIVE:
On February 3, 2020 at 8:31am, Patrol Officers from the Pomona Police Department responded to the 2000 blk. of S. San Antonio Ave. in reference to gunshots possibly being fired. Upon arrival, Officers located a victim down on the sidewalk suffering from a possible gunshot wound. Officers and L.A. Co. Fire personnel attempted to render medical aid, but the victim succumbed to his injuries.
Homicide investigators from the Pomona Police Department’s Major Crimes Unit responded to the scene and took over the investigation. The motive for the crime is not yet known.
