Davis Bouthavong was arrested for Arson after Detectives determined he intentionally set fire to a home in Landers

SUSPECT: Davis Bouthavong, 31-year-old male resident of Landers
SUMMARY:
On March 7, 2020, deputies from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department, Morongo Basin Station and personnel from the San Bernardino County Fire Department, responded to a structure fire in the 57000 block of Emerald Way in the community of Landers. After the investigation, it was determined the fire was set intentionally. The residence was a total loss and resulted in no injuries.
Detectives determined Davis Bouthavong set the fire to the residence he was living in. On March 10, 2020 deputies contacted Bouthavong near the burned residence . Bouthavong was arrested and booked at the Morongo Basin Jail for a violation of PC 451, Arson. He is being held on $250,000. bail.
