Emergency Order EO-03 issued by Mayor requires Municipal residents to stay home as much as possible

Beginning at 10:00pm on Sunday, March 22, Residents of the Municipality of Anchorage must stay at home as much as possible, except to work in certain critical jobs, to get food and supplies, to receive or provide healthcare and to recreate outside without contacting others.  On the limited occasions when individuals leave home, they should maintain a distance of at least six feet from anyone outside their household.
Vulnerable populations, such as older adults and people of any age who have serious underlying medical conditions are at greater risk should they be exposed to COVID-19.  These populations should stay home, limit contact with other people, and, if possible, arrange for household members, friends or neighbors to deliver necessary items like food or other supplies.  Anyone who is sick or has returned to Alaska from an area with ongoing community spread of COVID-19 within the past 14 days should reduce contact with others even further, except to obtain medical care or to get fresh air, maintaining at least 6 feet of distance between themselves and another person.
All businesses and entities except for specifically exempted businesses must close their premises.  Critical businesses include:
