LOCATION: Intersection of Peyton Drive and Rock Springs Drive, City of Chino Hills
SUSPECT: 33-year-old Don Joseph of Chino Hills
VICTIM: The Hertz Corporation
SUMMARY: On Friday, April 17, 2020, at approximately 3:25 PM, deputies with the Chino Hills Station located a vehicle that had been reported stolen out of the City of Ontario earlier in the day. Deputies completed a traffic stop on the vehicle and detained 33-year-old Don Joseph of Chino Hills. After investigation, Joseph was arrested for being in possession of a stolen vehicle.
In compliance with the statewide Emergency Bail Schedule, issued by the California Judicial Council, bail for most misdemeanor and felony offenses must be set at $0. Because of this criteria, Joseph was booked into West Valley Detention Center and released from custody following the booking process.
