STATE OF EMERGENCY DECLARED - 10 PM CURFEW SET 
Due to the looting and violence that is occurring in Walnut Creek, the Town of Danville has declared a State of Emergency due to Civil Unrest. Under that State of Emergency, police have instituted a mandatory curfew beginning at 10:00 pm. through 5:00 a.m. Residents are asked to stay at home during this time.
Additional police personnel have been activated and are maintaining patrols throughout Town.
We are aware of the threats that have been made on social media. We ask residents to only use 911 for reporting of emergencies.
