Route 46 will be closed in both directions between Route 517 (High Street) and Warren Street on Monday.

Route 46 Eastbound Detour: Left onto Route 517 (High St), right onto Franklin St, right onto Route 604 (Willow Grove St), left onto Route 46 (Main St).

Route 46 Westbound Detour: Right onto Route 604 (Willow Grove St), left onto Franklin St, left onto Route 517 (High St), right onto Route 46 (Main St).

Route 46 will have an alternating traffic pattern between West Stiger St and Grand Ave on Monday and Tuesday.

Route 46 eastbound will be closed at Mountain Avenue on Tuesday.

All side streets in the road closures will be closed.

There will be NO PARKING on Route 46 (Main St) between West Stiger Street and Warren Street from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Any vehicles parked in a NO PARKING ZONE will be ticketed and towed.

Residents who live along that section of Route 46 and will need to use their vehicle during those hours, should park on a side street or in a municipal parking lot.

The work will be done from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. All work is weather dependent and information is subject to change.

Police officers will be on site to assist with traffic control, however delays should be expected.

We know there will be some inconveniences, but if you travel Route 46, you know this work needs to be done. It's been about 25 years since downtown Main St has been repaved.
