10 New Positive COVID-19 Cases Reported in Seward Today

City of Seward Reports 10 New Positive COVID-19 Cases
Seward, Alaska – Today, the City of Seward is reporting ten (10) new positive cases of COVID-19 in local residents. Following up on the reported cases from earlier last week, the Seward Community Health Center performed well over 100 targeted tests yesterday, and Glacier Family Medicine performed almost 200 tests in the past few days. The results of all these tests will be received in the days to come.
Residents are strongly encouraged to take measures to protect their health by closely adhering to the guidelines provided by the CDC and Alaska Department of Health and Social Services:
- Wear a face covering
- Practice good hygiene
- Stay at least six feet away from non-household members
- Stay home if you are sick and contact your healthcare provider
- Keep your “bubble” small

- The Seward Community Health Center, located at 417 First Avenue, will be providing targeted COVID-19 testing from June 29 – July 2 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.
- Glacier Family Medicine is providing testing to all interested persons Monday-Thursday of the week of June 29 (Closed July 3rd for Independence Day) by appointment only.
