Deputies arrested Michael Stewart of Yucaipa for lewd acts and continued sexual abuse of a child

SUMMARY:
On Monday, August 24, 2020, San Bernardino County Deputies assigned to the Yucaipa Station investigated an allegation of lewd and lascivious acts on a child. Deputies learned two juveniles had been sexually abused by an adult male. Michael Stewart, a resident of Yucaipa, was identified by the victims. Stewart was contacted by deputies and arrested at his home.
Stewart was booked at Central Detention Center for violation of Penal Code 288(a) Lewd and Lascivious acts with a Child under 14 and Penal Code 288.5(a) Continued Sex Abuse of a Child. His bail was set at $350,000.
