INCIDENT:  Willful Cruelty to A Child
 
LOCATION: 1400 block of Sequioa St, Lake Arrowhead
 
SUSPECT:  Brittney Jordan, 28-years-old, resident of Lake Arrowhead
 
VICTIM:      Two-month-old male
 
 
SUMMARY:
On Tuesday, September 1, 2020 at 4:30 p.m., detectives from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department Specialized Investigations Division,  Crimes Against Children (CAC) Detail were notified of a two-month-old male, who was admitted to Loma Linda University Medical Center (LLUMC) Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) with severe injuries. Doctors at LLUMC determined the injuries were caused by non-accidental trauma, consistent with child abuse.
 
Through investigation, detectives learned the victim was in the care of his foster mother, Brittney Jordan, at the residence in Lake Arrowhead. At the conclusion of the investigation, detectives determined Jordan caused the injuries to the victim. On September 2, 2020, Jordan was arrested and booked into the Central Detention Center for violation of PC 273A(A), Willful Cruelty to a Child, with bail set at $100,000.
