The WOW arrest of the month goes to Deputy Gruppie!

Deputy Gruppie is the resident deputy in Lake LA, an unincorporated area in our jurisdiction. Yesterday, he was performing his routine patrol near 240th Street East and Avenue J-8, when he conducted a traffic stop of a Ford F-150. Deputy Gruppie noticed the vehicle was towing a trailer that had a very strong odor of marijuana coming from it. During his investigation, Deputy Gruppie uncovered over 780 pounds of marijuana in the trailer.

Both occupants of the vehicle were arrested for transportation of marijuana.
