Full Notification

I understand everyone's frustration that has received the numerous Nixle Weather notifications for the storms that moved through Michigan over the weekend. The only people that received those were the ones subscribed to receive messages from "Nixle Weather." Other subscribers were not effected.

We have a Hazardous Weather Specialist with the Paulding County Sheriff's Office. You will received messages from him via Nixle if you are subscribed to receive messages from the Paulding County Sheriff's Office. You are subscribed correctly if you are receiving this message.

You may want to consider unsubscribing to Nixle Weather since you will be receiving Paulding Weather notifications directly from us when necessary. This will hopefully prevent future problems.

You will need to log in to your account using your username and password from Nixle's home page (www.nixle.com)

Click on "Settings" at the top of the screen.

Remove the check beside "Nixle News", "Nixle Weather", and "Nixle Traffic" if you wish to unsubscribe from those messages.

Make sure that the box beside "Paulding County Sheriff's Office" is checked to continue to receive messages from us.

Nixle technical support is aware of the problem. I am waiting to hear back from them.
