Deputies arrested Robert Cleland of Needles for felon in possession of a firearm, possession of narcotics, ammunition 
DATE/TIME: December 31, 2020, at approximately 4:48 P.M.
INCIDENT: Pc 29800(a)(1); Felon in possession of a firearm, HS 11377(a); Possession of narcotics, PC 30305(a); Possession of ammunition, HS 11364(a); Possession of paraphernalia.
LOCATION: 500 block of Bazoobuth Street, Needles CA
SUSPECT(S): Robert Cleland, 37 year old male resident of Needles
SUMMARY:
On Thursday, December 31, 2020, deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department served a search warrant on a residence regarding a stolen vehicle recovered from the location.
During the course of the investigation, Cleland was found to be in possession of two firearms, 69 rounds of ammunition, suspected methamphetamine, suspected heroin, a scale, and several syringes, and approximately 73 keys from various vehicles.
Cleland was detained and arrested for the above listed offenses. Cleland was taken into custody without incident and booked at the Needles Jail. Cleland was transferred to the High Desert Detention Center and remains in custody.
