IMPD Homicide Detectives are seeking the public's assistance in locating two individuals they believe to be involved in a homicide that occurred at 2964 S. Keystone Avenue on January 17, 2021. INCIDENT LOCATION: 2964 S. Keystone Avenue
INDIANAPOLIS - On Sunday, January 17, 2021, just before 2:55 a.m., IMPD Southeast District officers were dispatched to 2964 S. Keystone Avenue on a report of a person shot. When officers arrived, they located one male victim in the parking lot of the business who had injuries consistent with a gunshot wound(s). IEMS arrived and unfortunately pronounced the victim deceased.
Homicide detectives responded to the scene to begin the investigation. The Indianapolis-Marion County Forensic Services Agency responded to assist in identifying and collecting potential forensic evidence. The Marion County Coroner’s Office will be assisting and will determine the exact manner and cause of death. The MCCO will release the names of the decedents once proper next-of-kin notification has been made.
