NARRATIVE: Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a Black man inside his home in Los Angeles.
At 7:53 PM, deputies from South Los Angeles Station responded to a home in the 1200 block of West 90th Street regarding a medical rescue/gunshot victim call. Upon arriving, they located the victim, a Male Black in his twenties, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect, a male Black in his thirties, fled the home on foot. The murder weapon is outstanding.
This murder does not appear to be gang related.
