Attempted Murder/ Drug Dealer Suspect Captured By SHERIFF VICTOR HILL’S Elite Fugitive Squad!

A DeKalb County Drug Dealer made a huge error that cost him his freedom by crossing  the border into Clayton County to commit the offense of attempted murder/ aggravated assault.

On November 15, 2020, on Southhampton Rd in College Park, John Nyemah got into a physical altercation with a man over a woman which lead to Nyemah firing multiple rounds at the man.    The trail for Nyemah lead to Dekalb County where authorities advised that they were very familiar with him. Dekalb Officers advised that Nyemah was a big time drug dealer in their area and that on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, their Narcotics Units observed Nyemah stuffing a large amount of marijuana in the trunk of a vehicle. Upon initiating a traffic stop, Nyemah fled leading officers in a pursuit before crashing into a tree and fleeing on foot.  Although officers were unsuccessful in apprehending Nyemah, a search of the vehicle was conducted which revealed approximately five pounds of marijuana and a stolen firearm.  As a result, 13 warrants were issued for Nyemah’s arrest making him wanted out of Dekalb as well as Clayton County.

The elite Fugitive Squad tracked Nyemah to a motel in Tucker Ga. where they surrounded his room and took him into custody without incident.  Nyemah was heavily armed (see attached picture) and in possession of more drugs when Fugitive Investigators took him into custody.

Despite the numerous charges Nyemah faces in DeKalb County,  he was brought to “The Hill-ton” first so that  he can face the wall at Georgia’s toughest para-military jail.
