Sheriff's Office investigating shooting incident on Stevic Court, Lady's Island. One person deceased, two wounded. 
Just after 8:00 p.m. tonight, the Sheriff's Office responded to a shooting that occurred at a residence on Stevic Court, Lady's Island.
During the shooting, one person — an adult male — was killed and two adults were wounded.
The two wounded adults were transported to the Beaufort Memorial Hospital by Beaufort County Emergency Medical Services for treatment.
Sheriff's Office investigators and the Beaufort County Coroner's Office are on scene. In addition, the Crime Scene Unit was notified and is responding to process for forensic evidence.
The subject(s) fled the scene prior to the arrival of Sheriff's Office deputies. There does not appear to be a threat to the general public.
Additional details, including the identity of the deceased man and information on the condition of the two wounded adults, will be released when available.
