SUMMARY:
On March 1st, 2021 at approximately 5:30 PM, Pomona Police Dispatch received a call regarding an alleged domestic violence incident. The victim who reported domestic violence also stated that the suspect was armed with a firearm.
Officers attempted to contact the suspect, but he barricaded himself inside his apartment with two roommates. Pomona PD SWAT responded to the scene due to the allegations of domestic violence and possibly being armed.
After a lengthy standoff, the two roommates safely exited the apartment, and the suspect was taken into custody without further incident. A pellet gun was located in the apartment.
