Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Homicide investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male Hispanic adult. The incident occurred at approximately 7:46 P.M. on Saturday, April 17, 2021 on the 5100 Block of Whittier Blvd, East Los Angeles.
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide investigators have learned that deputies from the East LA Sheriff’s Station responded to the location regarding a “Gun Shot Victim” call. When they arrived, they discovered the victim inside a nearby business suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the upper torso.
The victim was transported to a neaby hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The investigation is ongoing and there is no further information at this time.
