Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide investigators are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male adult. The incident was reported Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at approximately 2:00 PM.
Lancaster Station deputies responded to the 600 block of Lancaster Boulevard in Lancaster, regarding a gunshot victim. Upon their arrival, the found a male Black, 18 years-old, suffering from at least one gunshot wound.
He was subsequently transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Investigators have learned the victim was walking eastbound on Lancaster Blvd., when he was confronted by four males. An argument ensued, followed by the shooting.
The suspects were last seen fleeing the area on foot.
The investigation is ongoing and there is no further information at this time.
