Napa County Moves to Yellow Tier
The State announced today that Napa County will enter the less restrictive Yellow Tier under their Blueprint for a Safer Economy. The less restrictive Yellow Tier guidance will go into effect at 12:01 AM on Wednesday, June 9, 2021. This guidance will remain in place until the State lifts the Blueprint guidance on June 15, 2021.
A move to the less restrictive Yellow Tier means most activities can increase indoor operations, all with modifications. For example, wineries can expand indoor operations from 25% to 50% capacity or 200 people, whichever is fewer. Community members are reminded that COVID-19 is still present in our community and that the best way to protect yourselves and others is to get vaccinated. Please continue to take protective measures, such as wearing a face covering, washing your hands frequently, and keeping a minimum of 6’ of distance from those outside your household, especially if you are going to businesses or events where other people’s vaccination status is unknown.
