Sheriff's Office investigates shooting at Hilton Head Gardens. One man injured 
A short time ago, at around 12:45 p.m., the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office received a report of shots fired at the Hilton Head Gardens apartment complex on Southwood Park Drive on Hilton Head Island.
One adult male was injured in the shooting and is being treated at Hilton Head Hospital.
Deputies and investigators are on scene. Residents and guests can expect an increase in law enforcement presence over the next few hours.
The subject responsible for the shooting ran from the scene prior to deputies' arrival and has not yet been located.
