NARRATIVE:
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide investigators are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male Hispanic adult. The incident occured near the intersection of Valley Blvd & Trafalgar Avenue, La Puente, on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at approximately 12:45 P.M.
Detectives have learned deputies assigned to the Industry Station responded to the location regarding a gunshot victim call, and traffic collision. Upon their arrival, they located the victim, a male Hispanic adult, approximately thirty years of age, suffering from gunshot wounds to his upper torso.
The victim was transported to a local area hospital where he was pronouned deceased.
It should be noted, that after the victim was shot, he continued driving and collided with another vehicle. The occupants of that vehicle were also transported to a local hospital to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.
There is no known motive or suspect information at this time.
