INCIDENT: FATAL TRAFFIC COLLISION

VICTIM: Female, 29 years old
On October 6, 2021 at about 8:22 PM, Pomona Police Dispatch received a call of an injury traffic collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian in the area of Mission Blvd. and Dudley Street. The pedestrian walked into lanes of traffic for unknown reasons and was struck by a passing vehicle. When Emergency Personnel arrived on scene, they located a severely injured female down in lanes of traffic. LA County Fire Department arrived on scene, but the victim had succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Driver of the vehicle was not intoxicated.
