DATE/TIME: Monday, November 8, 2021 / 12:30 p.m.
INCIDENT: Fugitive Warrant - Possession of Loaded Firearm.
LOCATION: Interstate 40, Needles, CA.
SUSPECT(S): Jack Holley, 80-year-old resident of Villa Rica, GA.
SUMMARY: On Monday, November 8, 2021, at approximately 12:30 p.m., deputies assigned to the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department conducted a traffic stop on westbound Interstate 40, near mile marker 137 in the city of Needles.
Deputies contacted Jack Holley, the sole occupant of the vehicle. A records check was conducted and Holley was found to be a fugitive out of Douglas County, Georgia for lewd acts with a minor and aggravated sexual assault. Holley was taken into custody without incident. Upon further investigation, a loaded handgun was located in the vehicle.
Holley was arrested for the no bail felony warrant and PC 25850(a), possession of loaded firearm. He was booked into the Colorado River Station jail and is being held pending a court hearing.
