Sheriff’s Homicide detectives are continuing to assist San Gabriel Police Department investigate the shooting death of a male Asian adult, approximately forty years old.
San Gabriel Police Department responded to the 1400 block of Prospect Ave, San Gabriel at approximately 8:10PM regarding a shots fired call. When the officers arrived, they entered the location and discovered a male Asian adult suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper torso. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Officers learned a second male Asian adult with a gunshot wound, was transported to a nearby hospital. Officers believe both victims are related to the same shooting incident. The second victim is being treated for non-life threatening injuries.
