Madison Avenue near Lark Street and Delaware Avenue to Close Monday. Drivers Should Expect Delays. 
Beginning on Monday April 18, 2022 at 7:00 a.m., the Albany Water Department will be making repairs near the intersection of Lark Street, Madison Avenue and Delaware Avenue. The project is anticipated to take two weeks and scheduled until Friday, April 29th.
During construction there will be various lane closures and detours depending upon where the contractor is working in the intersection. Construction personnel will be at the location directing traffic during work hours.
Work is scheduled to take place from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. each day (except Sundays).
Parking Restrictions:
- Both sides of Lark Street from 302 Lark Street to Dana Avenue
- Both sides of Dana Avenue from Delaware Avenue to Lark Street
Motorist who routinely travel near this intersection should expect delays and consider alternate routes or give themselves extra time during their commute.
