Sheriff’s Homicide investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male Black adult in his late 20’s.
Carson Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to a gunshot victim call at approximately 11:42 PM on the 10 block of Scottsdale South, in the city of Carson. Upon arriving, deputies discovered the victim suffering from several gunshot wounds to his upper torso.
The victim was transported to a local area hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
During the investigation, detectives learned the initial shooting occurred on the 20 block of Paradise Valley South, in the city of Carson.
Detectives also learned a bystander, a male Hispanic adult in his early 20’s, sustained gunshot wounds to his upper torso and transported himself to a local hospital where he is in stable condition.
There is no suspect(s) description at this time and the murder weapon(s) remains outstanding.
