Sheriff’s Homicide investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting death of a male Black adult in the city of Carson.
Deputies from the Carson Station received a call for service regarding a "person down", possibly a gun shot victim on the 19700 block of Central Avenue. Deputies located the victim, a male Black in his twenties, laying in the street, suffering from a gun shot wound.
LA County Fire personnel pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
There is no suspect or additional information at this time.
