Armed Robbery at Subway on 7/8/22 (see social media for video)
ARMED ROBBERY
REPORT NUMBER: 22-2971
On July 8th, 2022 at approximately 9:25 AM, Culver City Police officers received a call for service of an armed robbery that had just occurred at Subway, located at 3817 Sepulveda Blvd. When officers arrived at the location, they met with the victim, who was a Subway employee. The victim advised officers that the suspect entered the location, wearing a black ski mask, and ordered a sandwich. After receiving the sandwich, the suspect pulled out a black handgun and demanded cash. Fearing for her life, the victim complied and filled the suspect’s bag with $200-300. The suspect then exited the store and ran northbound on Sepulveda Blvd., toward Venice Blvd. Officers conducted an area search, but were unable to locate the suspect.
Officers obtained surveillance footage of the incident.
