**2nd UPDATE** #LASD Homicide Bureau Responded to a Death Investigation, 1700 Blk E. Del Amo Bl, #Carson

Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators have determined the victim sustained apparent stab wounds and this death is being investigated as a homicide. It does not appear to be gang related. 
 
There is no further information being released at this time. 


FIRST UPDATE FOLLOWS:                                                              



Sheriff’s Homicide Investigators are continuing their investigation into the circumstances surrounding the death of an Asian man in his 50’s in Carson. 

Carson Station deputies responded to a business in the 1700 block of Del Amo Boulevard regarding a person down, medical rescue call at 6:14 AM today. Upon arriving, deputies discovered the victim inside the business suffering from apparent blunt force traumatic injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

His cause of death is not immediately apparent and will be determined at autopsy.

There is no suspect or suspect information at this time.

The victim is believed to be an employee at the location and had been working inside the night prior. He was discovered by a coworker.

NARRATIVE:  
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Homicide detectives are responding to the 1700 blk of E. Del Amo Boulevard, Carson, to investigate unknown circumstances surrounding the death of a man that occurred on Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at approximately 6:20 a.m..

The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.
