Los Angeles, Calif. – Join Deputies, LA Sheriff’s Department employees, elected officials, community leaders, and community members as Los Angeles County Sheriff-elect Robert G. Luna is sworn-in as Los Angeles County’s 34th Sheriff.
WHO: Los Angeles County Sheriff-elect Robert G. Luna
WHAT: Sheriff-elect Robert G. Luna will be sworn into the office of LA County Sheriff.
Sheriff-elect Luna will thank his supporters and detail his plans to reduce crime, address the homelessness crisis, restore public trust and increase accountability. Sheriff-elect Luna will also address his plans to reform and modernize the Sheriff’s Department as well as improve Deputy and employee wellness.

Sheriff-elect Luna will not be taking questions from the press during or after the swearing-in ceremony.
While Sheriff-elect Luna will be sworn in on Saturday, December 3rd, his term will begin on Monday, December 5th, at noon.
