CENTER FOR DRUG AND GANG ACTIVITY SHUT DOWN IN WEST MODESTO

Modesto-CA, Investigators from Modesto Police Department Street Gang Unit, and the Modesto Narcotic Enforcement Team with the assistance of the Modesto Police Swat Team shut down a center for drug and gang activity in Modesto this morning

Around 9:00 am this morning Modesto Police SWAT team served a search warrant at 1701 Tonilane within the city of Modesto. Investigators developed information that this residence (the home of Primitivo Gratton 25years out of Modesto) was a hub for drug and gang activity in west Modesto.

Officers served the search warrant and located Vicodin and Marijuana packaged for sales as well as over 6.5 ounces of Crystal Methamphetamine, which has a street value of over $10,000. Also seized during the search was a semi auto handgun and over $3,000 in cash. Investigators believe that this residence has been one of the main distribution point for illegal narcotics in the west Modesto area.

Arrested during the operation was Primitivo Gratton 25years out of Modesto, Philip Fuentes 18years out of Modesto and Jose Gutierrez 33years also of Modesto. All were arrested on various drug and weapons charges.
