Drivers urged to use EXTREME CAUTION while driving this evening and remain alert for STANDING WATER in the roadway. 
The Paulding County Sheriff's Office is reminding driver's to use extreme caution while driving throughout the evening and night. Heavy rainfall has settled in our area for most of the day and is expect to last throughout the night.
The sheriff's office has already responded to isolated "road hazard" locations caused by some minor standing water. However, it has been noted that the water level in some creeks and lakes near the roadways have increased throughout the day. Drivers are reminded to use caution and NOT travel through standing water. It is best to turn around if you can not see the roadway due to the standing water.
