**ORIGINAL PRESS RELEASE**
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Missing Persons Detail are asking for the public’s help locating At-Risk Missing Person, John Emsley Garside. He was last seen on April 30, 2026, at 8:00 a.m., on the 1500 block of Glenelder Avenue, in the city of Hacienda Heights.
Mr. Emsley is described as an 82-year-old male White adult, 6’01”, 320 lbs., with gray hair, blue eyes, a mustache and a scar on left knee. He wears a gold watch and copper bracelet, he was last seen wearing a blue shirt and gray shorts.
He was last seen driving a gray 2021 Ford Bronco CA-8WNF417. Possible destinations include the 8000 block of Beach Boulevard, Buena Park and the 8000 block of Foothill Boulevard, Rancho Cucamonga.
Mr. Emsley has medical conditions and a mental health disorder, His family is concerned for his well-being and is asking for the public’s help.
